Sketty, Swansea: Schools
Schools
Sketty has a solid mix of state schools for all ages. You'll find 2 comprehensives and several primaries in the neighbourhood, plus a further education college right on its edge.
For younger children, there's Parkland Primary and Sketty Primary. When they're ready for secondary, Olchfa School and Bishop Gore Comprehensive both serve the area. Olchfa is well-regarded locally and has a sixth form, so it's a genuine through-route from Year 7 to A-levels.
Gower College Swansea's Tycoch campus sits just inside the neighbourhood boundary, which is a real bonus for post-16 learners.
If you're after a private option, Oakleigh House School is just outside Sketty. It's run by the Cognita group and takes children from nursery through to primary age.
Overall, the education offer here is strong and covers every stage.
