Kirkham's got decent transport links for a small Lancashire town. The railway station is just outside the neighbourhood and easy to reach, putting Preston and Blackpool within commuting distance. A secondary road runs through the area, giving you good access to the wider network without the noise of a major route.
Bus stops are thin on the ground, so you'll want a car for everyday life. There's no car-share schemes or rental bikes locally either.
Transport here is functional rather than extensive. If you rely heavily on public transport, this neighbourhood probably isn't for you.
