King's Hedges has a solid range of state schools nearby, with strong Ofsted ratings across most primaries and one Outstanding nursery right in the neighbourhood.
Colleges Nursery School on Campkin Road has an Outstanding Ofsted rating — a real highlight for families with young children. Kings Hedges Primary School, the closest primary, maintained its standards at a recent inspection in December 2024. The Grove Primary School, also nearby, is rated Good.
St Laurence Catholic Primary and Arbury Primary are both rated Good, so families have genuine choice at primary level.
North Cambridge Academy serves secondary-age pupils and maintained its standards at a February 2025 inspection. All schools here are state-funded, and there are no private schools within the neighbourhood itself.
