Burstead, Basildon: Transport
Transport
Burstead has decent transport links for a semi-rural neighbourhood. There's a railway station just outside, which gets you into London and beyond without a long drive. You can also rent a car locally if you don't own one or want the flexibility.
Public transport is limited though. There are no buses or cycle hire schemes in the neighbourhood, so you'll want a car for day-to-day life. Cycleways do exist nearby, but they're not right on your doorstep.
If you drive, you're well set up. The A127 and A128 are both within reach, which is a real advantage for commuters. Overall, this neighbourhood works best if you're a driver rather than someone relying on public transport.
