Ballymurphy, Belfast: Amenities

Ballymurphy has the basics you need day-to-day, but you'll head outside the neighbourhood for most other things. Within Ballymurphy itself, there's a post office, pharmacy, convenience store, and hardware shop. You'll also find a social facility, a place of worship, and a sports pitch. That covers the essentials. For cafés, restaurants, bars, and a wider range of shops, you'll need to travel nearby. The same applies to sports and fitness centres. The neighbourhood has fewer amenities than the UK average. It's a quiet residential area rather than a bustling local hub, so having a car or good transport links really helps here.
