House prices here run slightly higher than neighbouring areas, especially for flats and semi-detached homes — the newer Wichelstowe development has pushed values up. Having Great Western Hospital right on your doorstep is a real advantage.
You'll need a car to get around, though there are decent cycleways if you cycle. Primary schools nearby are good, and you've got enough local shops, pubs and green space for day-to-day living. For bigger shopping trips, you'll head into Swindon.
