West, Malvern Hills: Amenities

Most of West's everyday amenities are just outside the neighbourhood, but the wider area has plenty of services within easy reach. In the neighbourhood itself, you'll find 1 convenience store, 1 café, 3 pubs, and 1 bar. It's a modest local offer. Head out a bit further and things open up — there are 7 supermarkets, 9 pharmacies, 13 restaurants, and 5 post offices in the surrounding area. You'll also find 28 places of worship across the wider area. This setup is pretty typical for residential neighbourhoods across the UK. You'll handle most day-to-day needs nearby rather than on your doorstep, which works well if you're happy to take a short trip out.
