Tyldesley, Blackpool: Transport
Transport
Tyldesley's transport options are fairly basic. There's no train station here, and you'll rely mainly on buses to get around. That said, the neighbourhood sits close to the A577 and the wider Greater Manchester road network, which works well if you drive.
Buses connect you to Leigh, Wigan, and Manchester, but services run less frequently than you'd find in more central parts of Greater Manchester. If you commute regularly, you'll probably need a car.
There's no Metrolink stop nearby either, which means public transport access is below the UK average. Cycling infrastructure is also limited in the neighbourhood.
The real advantage here is road access. The A577 gives you straightforward links to the M61 and M60, so driving to Manchester or further afield is practical and reasonably quick.
