Trossachs and Teith, Stirling: Transport
Transport
Trossachs and Teith is a rural Scottish neighbourhood where you'll need a car for most journeys. That said, it's better connected than many rural areas — you've got railway stations, a ferry terminal, and a solid network of cycle routes.
Public transport is thin on the ground. Bus stops within the neighbourhood are sparse, and the nearest bus stations are outside it. But having railway stations locally is a real advantage for a rural area, giving you links into the wider Central Scotland network.
The A84 and surrounding roads make driving straightforward, and fuel stations are easy to reach. You'll also find a bicycle rental point here, and the neighbourhood has a strong network of cycleways — well above what you'd typically find in rural areas.
