Tref Cybi, Isle of Anglesey: Transport
Transport
Tref Cybi punches above its weight for transport links in a coastal neighbourhood. You've got a railway station, ferry terminals, and car rental all right here, which means you're far more self-sufficient than most comparable areas.
The ferry connections are genuinely useful. They run to Dublin and other destinations, so whether you're commuting or travelling for leisure, you've got real options. The railway station connects you to the North Wales Coast Line, giving you direct access to the wider rail network.
The A55 North Wales Expressway is nearby, so getting around by car is straightforward. You can head east towards the mainland or reach the motorway network quickly.
You can rent a car locally, and there's a cycleway too. That said, walking and cycling infrastructure is fairly limited overall.
