About Toome
Toome is a quiet, rural neighbourhood near Lough Neagh where you'll find three local primary schools and genuinely low living costs — council tax comes to £95 a month compared to the UK average of £147. You'll need a car for most things here, as public transport is thin on the ground and healthcare facilities are outside the neighbourhood boundary. The A6 does give you practical access towards both Belfast and Londonderry though. Air quality is good, and there's a strong community feel with six places of worship and modest local amenities including cafés and a post office.
