Thetford Castle, Breckland: Transport
Transport
Thetford Castle has decent transport links for a Norfolk town this size. You'll find a bus station in the neighbourhood and a railway station nearby, though most bus stops and walking routes are just outside the immediate area.
The train station connects you to Norwich and Cambridge, which is handy if you commute or travel regularly. The A11 is close by too, giving you direct road access to both cities without driving through town.
Most people here own a car, and there's parking to support that. You can rent a car just outside the neighbourhood if you need to.
There's no underground or tram network, and cycle hire isn't available locally. Public transport is modest compared to the UK average, but it works fine for day-to-day living.
