St Matthew's, Preston: Transport
Transport
St Matthew's doesn't have much transport infrastructure within the neighbourhood itself, but nearby connections and good road access mean it's far more connected than the numbers alone suggest.
Most public transport stops sit outside the neighbourhood, so you'll be using services nearby rather than on your doorstep. Bus links do exist, though they're not concentrated here.
There's a cycleway in the neighbourhood, which is handy if you cycle. Fuel stations are also close by, pointing to solid road access — useful if you drive to work.
The proximity to major roads is a real advantage. It keeps the area connected without needing to lean heavily on public transport. For drivers, that's a practical benefit worth considering.
