St Mary's, Castle Point: Transport
Transport
St Mary's has its own railway station and a secondary road running through it, so you can get around without a car if you want to.
The station puts rail travel right on your doorstep, which is genuinely useful for commuters. The secondary road also connects you to the wider road network without forcing you through major congestion first.
Footpaths within the neighbourhood make walking a realistic day-to-day option. There's a fuel station locally too, which helps if you do drive.
Bus services and cycle hire aren't well represented here, so you'll probably rely on rail and road for most journeys. Compared to the UK average, connectivity is modest but it works.
