Schools
St Mary's has a strong education offer nearby, with a real mix of state and independent schools across all age groups. Several are rated Outstanding by Ofsted — well above the national average.
In the neighbourhood itself, you'll find Falconbrook Primary School and Westbridge Academy (both state, both Good), plus Saint John Bosco College, a Good voluntary aided secondary. L'Ecole de Battersea, an independent school in the neighbourhood, earned Outstanding in its September 2025 Ofsted inspection — a recent and impressive result. Thomas's Battersea, one of London's best-known independent preps, is just minutes away too.
Somerset Nursery School is rated Outstanding and offers strong early years provision. For secondary, Harris Academy Battersea also holds Outstanding status. The overall picture is genuinely encouraging for families.
