St John's, Lichfield: Transport
Transport
St John's is built for driving. The roads here make it the most practical way to get around for most people, and you'll find decent parking nearby.
Public transport is close but not on your doorstep. The nearest railway station and bus station are just outside the neighbourhood boundary, so you'll need to travel a short distance to reach them. There's no subway or tram network here.
If you cycle, you'll need to head outside the neighbourhood to find proper cycling infrastructure. Footpaths are well spread across the area though, so walking works well for shorter local trips.
If you don't drive, factor in that short journey to the nearest public transport links when you're thinking about whether this neighbourhood suits you.
