Squirrels Heath, Havering: Transport
Transport
Squirrels Heath has a railway station right in the neighbourhood, giving you a direct route into London. Bus coverage and cycling infrastructure are limited compared to the rest of the UK, though.
The station is the real draw here. You can get to central London without a car, which is brilliant for commuters and helps protect your property value long-term.
Buses are sparse. There's only one stop nearby, and it's just outside the neighbourhood boundary. If you don't drive, that's something to think about.
Cycling routes are thin on the ground too. There are no cycleways within the neighbourhood itself.
Parking is decent. Several car parks are within easy reach, and fuel stations sit just outside the boundary, so driving stays practical.
