About Padstow
Padstow is a coastal Cornish town where food really matters. The local schools are good, crime rates sit well below the national average, and it genuinely feels like a safe place to live. Property prices are high — especially for flats and detached homes — because people want to be here. Healthcare's a bit thin on the ground: there's one GP and one dentist, so you'll travel for a pharmacy. You'll need a car for most journeys since buses are limited and there's no train station. Rental bikes work well for the coastal paths though. Most residents either work from home, or locally in tourism, trades or land-based industries.
