About New Buildings
New Buildings is a quiet, family-friendly neighbourhood where you'll find two local primary schools, falling crime rates and living costs that sit below the UK average — including cheaper council tax and transport. You've got everyday essentials nearby: a post office, convenience store and fitness centre. Public transport is limited here, but the roads are good, so getting to the wider Derry area is straightforward for commuters. Rents are affordable compared to other UK cities, and the mild climate and good air quality make it an appealing choice if you're after something calmer and more spacious than city living.
