Neville's Cross, County Durham: Transport
Transport
Neville's Cross is well-connected for a suburban neighbourhood. Bus stops are spread throughout the area, and there's a railway station nearby that gets you to Durham city centre and beyond.
Buses are how most people get around here. You'll find stops dotted across and around the neighbourhood, so going car-free is realistic for many residents.
The railway station connects you to Durham and the wider East Coast Main Line — a real advantage if you're making longer journeys. Road access is strong too, with the A167 close by. It takes you north into Durham or south towards the A1(M).
You can rent a car locally. Cycling infrastructure is limited, so keep that in mind if you cycle regularly.
