Mullaghmore has good access to schools at every level, though most sit just outside the neighbourhood boundary.
Within the neighbourhood itself, you'll find Sperrinview Special School, Drumglass High School, and Gaelscoil Aodha Rua, an Irish-medium primary. Nearby, St Patrick's Academy and St Patrick's College take secondary-age pupils. The Royal School Dungannon is an independent grammar school with a strong reputation. For further education, there's South West College at Dungannon.
