Lamphey, Pembrokeshire: Transport
Transport
Lamphey is a quiet, rural neighbourhood where you'll want a car for most things, though the railway station here is a genuine advantage.
The railway station is the standout feature. You can hop on a train without driving somewhere else first. Bus stops are outside the neighbourhood though, so you'll need your own transport for everyday trips.
Roads are reasonably well connected. A primary road runs through the area with others nearby, so getting to Pembroke and further afield is straightforward.
There's no bike rental or car-share schemes here, and cycling infrastructure is limited — the cycleways are outside the neighbourhood boundary.
Connectivity is below the UK average overall. But if you drive, the combination of road and rail access makes this neighbourhood work.
