Gowerton, Swansea: Transport
Transport
Gowerton has solid transport links for a smaller Welsh neighbourhood. The railway station is right here in the neighbourhood, which is genuinely handy — you can catch a direct train to Swansea and beyond without needing a car.
Getting to Swansea city centre by train is quick, so it works well if you commute. Secondary roads nearby connect you to the wider network, including routes towards the M4, which gets you to Cardiff and further afield.
Bus services are thin on the ground locally. Cycling infrastructure is limited too — you'll need to head outside the neighbourhood to find rental bikes.
Transport variety here sits slightly below the UK average overall, but the railway station keeps you properly connected.
