Fishwick & Frenchwood has a mixed education landscape, but there's plenty to like here. You've got 2 Outstanding-rated secondary schools nearby, though primary schools are more hit and miss, and one local secondary needs improvement.
For primary-age children, Fishwick Primary School is right in the neighbourhood with a Good Ofsted rating. St Teresa's Catholic Primary is also close by. Frenchwood Community Primary currently requires improvement — recent inspections highlighted issues with curriculum and leadership that need addressing.
Secondary education is a real strength. Eden Boys' School and Preston Muslim Girls High School are both rated Outstanding, which is excellent for families in the area.
Christ The King Catholic High School is rated Inadequate, so that's worth considering if you have secondary-age children.
For post-16 options, Cardinal Newman College and Lancaster University School of Mathematics are both nearby and offer strong choices.
