About Broughshane
Broughshane is a quiet rural village where your money goes further. Living costs sit well below the UK average, and crime rates are among the lowest in Northern Ireland — they've been dropping year on year.
You'll find a supermarket, post office, two pubs and a golf course right here in the village. There's a local primary school too, with secondary schools and a hospital just a short drive away in Ballymena. The air quality is excellent and rents stay affordable — a typical three-bed costs around £800 a month in 2025.
You'll need a car here because public transport is limited. That said, the A26 gives you easy access to Ballymena whenever you need something beyond what the village offers.
