Bridge, Dartford: Safety
Safety
Crime in Bridge is higher than national and South East averages, but it's getting better. Recorded crimes per 1,000 residents dropped from 217 in 2024 to 163 in 2025 — a real improvement in just one year.
Anti-social behaviour nearly halved between 2024 and 2025, falling from 188 incidents to 104. Vehicle crime also fell, from 109 to 70. For a neighbourhood of just over 4,000 residents, these are positive shifts.
Compared to nearby neighbourhoods, Bridge performs reasonably well. Town and Stone Castle both had significantly higher crime rates in 2025. Burnham is quieter, though it's smaller and less urban.
Violent crime is still the biggest category here, and it's worth knowing that. The good news is it's also fallen year on year.
