Bourne, Wyre: Transport
Transport
Bourne is a car-dependent neighbourhood. You'll need to drive for most things, as public transport is sparse and there aren't many local amenities within the neighbourhood itself.
There's only one public transport stop, and it's just outside the neighbourhood boundary. That's well below the UK average for accessibility. Without a car, everyday life here will feel quite limiting.
The neighbourhood does have a fuel station, and the roads are decent. Being close to the A59 means drivers can reach Preston and Skipton reasonably easily, which helps make up for the lack of local transport options.
There are no car-share schemes or rental bikes in the area. If you don't drive or you're commuting regularly, that's something to factor in.
