Our data
Planna's free home reports, area guides and postcode pages are built from UK public and open data, combined with Planna's own analysis. This page says who publishes them, what the estimated value is and is not, and how to report a mistake.

Who publishes Planna
Planna (planna.co) is run by Planna Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 12933453, incorporated on 6 October 2020. Registered office: 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA. You can reach us at support@planna.co.
Where the data comes from
Our pages draw on official UK datasets such as HM Land Registry sale records, Energy Performance Certificates and police-recorded crime, together with Planna's own data and analysis. Figures on our pages show their source and the period they cover where they are shown.
The estimated value
The estimated value on a home report is an automated estimate from Planna's own valuation model, based on recorded local sales and the property's characteristics. It is shown to the nearest £1,000 with the month it was produced, for example “as of November 2026”, and is updated as new sales data are published, so it can change from one month to the next.
- It is not a formal valuation or a survey, and should not be relied on for a mortgage, sale or insurance decision.
- It cannot see a home's condition inside, or work that has not been recorded.
- Official data is published with a delay, so the most recent sales may not be included yet.
